Astoria marks a significant milestone in my journey: it is my very first completed textile artwork. This piece is the physical manifestation of a vision to bridge the gap between digital precision and the warmth of the human hand.
Born from an original sketch, the composition explores the elegance of the human form through a minimalist lens.
More than a silhouette on a wall, it is 25 hours of focused, manual devotion, with the intention of honoring the "Freedom to Express" the unwavering belief that body positivity is a high art, and that the grace of our silhouettes, when rendered with such discipline, belongs in our most sacred spaces.
In Astoria, the complexity of our existence is distilled into a few honest lines. It is an invitation to look closer, to feel the texture of the form, and to celebrate the skin we live in without apology.
Made from 100% Recycled Cotton Macramé cord.
Accompanied by a 70cm wooden dowel. The piece arrives fully assembled and ready to hang.

Materials + Care
I use 100% recycled cotton and unvarnished pine wood.
A gentle dusting with a soft feather duster once in a while is all it needs to stay fresh and vibrant. If the fibers shift during a move or from a breeze, you can gently run your fingers through the cord to realign the lines.
